Some years ago, a New York type designer named Cyrus Highsmith tried to spend a day without the Helvetica font. His trouble began with the clothes that he would wear because the washing instructions on most of his clothes were in Helvetica.
The troubles continued through the entire day with every part of the city stamped with this ubiquitous font. Such is the popularity of Helvetica. The Helvetica BQ is very similar to the original Helvetica but it is slightly narrower than it. The Helvetica BQ Black is an extremely bold version of the Helvetica font and is ideal for signage because it can be read clearly from a distance.
