The original Futura font was designed in the year 1922 and it was launched officially in the year 1936 by Bauer Type Foundry. Initially the font was released after being casted as bold, medium and light fonts by the year 1928. The condensed form of Futura fonts was designed in the year 1930. Later on, in the year 1950, the Futura Condensed Light font was released.
The Condensed Light version of Futura font is one of the most popular subtypes of the Futura family. It too falls in the category of geometric sans font style. The Futura LT Condensed Light typeface has a total of 254 characters which includes upper and lower case alphabets, numbers and various symbols.
The alphabets are comparatively taller and narrower when compared to the original Futura font. The alphabets have pointed edges unlike the flat edged characters of the original Futura font.
