The Futura font came into existence in the year 1922. Initially, the font was casted as Medium, Light, Bold and Bold Oblique. The Heavy cast of the Futura font was designed in the later years. The Futura LT Heavy font style is a modified version of Futura. The characters you see in this font style are comparatively thicker than the normal Futura font style, but are thinner when compared to the Futura Bold typeface. The characters are slightly taller and a little narrower as well.
