As can be deduced from the name itself, this typeface resembles lettering from a stencil. As with all Futurist typefaces, this font too is a sans-serif font. Anyone who has ever seen a stencil will know what to expect from this font, it can be quite eye-catching, due to its exceptional reproduction of stencilled characters.
What is revolutionary about the Futurist Stencil typeface is that this font has no lower case letters – only upper case letters, and another set of upper case letters in a smaller size. This, of course, has been done keeping in mind the need to stay true to the style the font upholds.
The presence of geometric elements is rather obscure, but if one looks closely, the shapes of loose squares and triangles can be spotted. This font is great for use in headlines, as the stencil effect is very noticeable, and looks good as well.
